Charles Ruetsch, Ph.D.
CEO & President
As founder, President, and CEO of Health Analytics, Charley draws on nearly 25 years of experience in managed care and post-market pharmaceutical outcomes research and management.
Charley’s diverse background enables him to balance innovative and sound health care science with cutting edge business strategies that maximize quality, efficiency, and profitability for third-party payors, manufacturers, health systems, employers, and physician groups.
Sensitive to the evolving demands of a changing health care market, Charley is a practical executive with a rare combination of business savvy and scientific expertise. The depth and breadth of his combined experience has shaped his fundamental belief that health care research must have a measurable impact on business operations.
Charley received his doctorate degree in Psychology, specializing in health-related behavior change from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – New Brunswick.

Joshua N. Liberman, PhD, MBA
Chief Operating Officer
Josh serves as Health Analytics’ COO and Sr. Epidemiologist. Josh has led healthcare delivery R&D teams for more than two decades. Josh understands the provider, payer, and pharmacy (i.e., retail, mail, and specialty) perspectives and barriers to optimizing care for patients.
His work in pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology has expanded understanding of the effects of cost and benefit design on access to medications, the value of shared decision making, and the role of the pharmacist and physician in treatment selection and management.
Over the past decade, Josh has translated this work to solutions to make the most of pharmacy care for patients, working at the intersection of digital health, analytics, and improved communication to make medication management easier for providers and to help patients gain the knowledge and understanding to effectively self-manage.
Josh received his doctorate degree in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business from the University of Maryland.

Jon Darer, M.D.
Medical Innovation Director
Jon is a general internist and physician innovator with over 17 years of experience leading the development of data-driven interventions in large health systems, meaningfully advancing clinical, operational, and financial outcomes through clinical reengineering, patient-family engagement, clinical decision support, and learning health networks.
Jon received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut, performed his general internal medicine residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, and completed a fellowship in General Internal Medicine and Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins.

Alicyn Hodges
Senior Project Manager
Alicyn serves as the Senior Project Manager at Health Analytics and is Manager of the Research Assistant Team.
Alicyn leads all project management activities for the research operations team, utilizing her expertise in strategic planning and management to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables for clients.
Alicyn brings with her more than 20 years of experience focused on project management across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
She has overseen the implementation of healthcare initiatives and outcomes research for health plans, pharmaceutical benefit management firms and disease management programs.
She is heavily involved with the Project Management Institute, including the local chapters in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, and has served in various leadership capacities.
